• A building permit for the new work is not issued until the demolition permit is approved.
• Trees must be shown on the site plan, and tree protection signed off before the demolition application is submitted.
• Demolition is a covered project for the city's debris recovery rules, filed through the Green Halo portal.
• The city publishes a demolition procedure checklist, a hazardous materials checklist and separate swimming pool removal requirements.
