Same lot.
Before and after.

Debris was sorted on site with a grapple as it was loaded, then hauled off in our own roll-offs. The lot was left graded flat for what gets built next.

What we do in Santa Clara

From one room
to a whole lot.

One call covers the teardown and the haul-off. Anderson walks the job, writes the quote and runs the crew.

  • House demolition

Houses, garages and ADUs taken down, foundations out and the lot graded, like the lot by the stadium.

  • Concrete removal

Driveways, patios, slabs and foundations broken out and trucked away.

  • Pool removal

Shell and rebar out, utilities capped, yard filled back in. Santa Clara asks for a grading permit.

  • Interior demolition

Kitchens, baths, closets and whole floors taken down to the studs.

Permits in Santa Clara

What the city
asks for.

These points come from the City of Santa Clara Building Division's own demolition and pool removal handouts.

From the Building Division

  • The Building Division publishes a Demolition Permit Requirements handout and a Swimming Pool Removal handout.
  • A PCB Screening Assessment Form is part of the demolition permit review.
  • A Bay Area Air Quality Management District (BAAQMD) job number is required with the application.
  • Electric, gas and water service must be disconnected and verified before a demolition permit is issued.
  • Sewer lines must be capped within 5 feet of the property line, with a final inspection.
  • Removing a swimming pool requires a grading permit, with a site plan and the cubic yards of fill.
  • Planning or Fire Department clearance may also be required, depending on the property.

How we help

  • We walk the job and tell you which of these apply to it.
  • We walk you through the permit steps before work goes on the schedule.
  • Teardown and haul-off run on one schedule, with our own trucks and one crew.

Checked against the city's website in October 2026. Rules and forms change, so confirm with the city before you plan around them.

What customers say

Very fast job and clean work. This is what I call someone you can rely on. Anderson was very knowledgeable and stood behind his quote and completed his contract.
